Encouragement

Some people like to think there is no joy in life,
but haven't they realized that in the presence of God is fullness of joy?
They think that they can't go on,
but we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.
God has given us all power and might by His spirit!
He is the author and finisher of our faith.
He leadeth us beside the still waters!
When we fall, we can arise.
We've got to lift ourselves in the spirit!
Let's prepare ourselves for that great day of His appearing.
He is our everything and He is our all!

Servant

I am a servant,
I'm God's servant.
I'll serve Him forever,
as long as I'm alive.

If something's wrong,
He's there.
If I'm afraid,
He cares.
He is my God,
and I am His servant.

I'll serve Him with heart,
mind and soul.
My whole being will serve Him,
throughout eternity!

Pain

Sometimes there's pain inside,
but you don't want anyone to know about it.
You keep it shut up,
like the clothes in the closet you don't wear.

It hurts so bad,
but nobody'll listen.
Even if they did,
you'd be afraid to tell them.
They might laugh and tell others.

But God's always there,
He'll listen and not tell.
So I'll always say this:
"Let it lose, baby!"

Trust

It's good to know you're trusted,
it's good to know you trust.
Trust is good for us,
it lets our secrets out.
BUT:
don't trust too fast,
befriend, learn, then trust.

In Between

It all started like this:
"in the beginning"
and ended like this:
"Amen"
But what matters the most,
is in between.

I Know

It's odd how people will say
"I know",
when you are telling them they need God.
If they know so much,
why not come?
God brings the strength,
the hope and joy of eternal life.
Why would they resist,
the Almighty God?

Don't Give Up

I won't give up,
I've made up my mind.
No matter what others do,
I'll live for you.
I'll live to the fullest,
even with failures and mistakes.
But I'll get back up,
and not give in.
I've given up on this world,
but not on God.

My Lord

I sometimes wonder,
why the world's so bad.
So full of sin,
and deceit.
I worry about loved ones,
old friends and family.
But the only thing to do,
is pray and believe.
I believe in my God,
my Lord, Jesus Christ.

I

I don't go by a label,
I go by my name.
I'll not ruin my reputation,
with unholy things.
I'll try to please God,
in all that I do.
But the only thing I promise,
is that I'll live true.

Sunshine - Haiku

Sunshine flows around,
my head like a pool's water,
swishing back and forth.

Trials

They're the things we go through
that bring us strength.
Without a trial,
we would never realize,
that we can have a victory.
So worship through your trials,
don't let anything take away your joy.
Trials won't last forever,
one day there will be a final victory.
Let's just keeping pressing toward that mark,
of that high calling,
in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Out of one of my church notebooks

I've sometimes thought that I cannot go on
but then I think of Jesus and say:
"it'll be worth it all one day"


I've often wandered what life would be like without a home. Without food, clothes, money, family and friends. Then I ask God to forgive me for taking things for granted. I ask him to keep all those out there that are not as privileged as me safe and to save them from darkness.


A Halt
I see the world in darkness
things are tumbling down.
I wave and shout to warn others
but they are blinded by their sin.
I pray 'Dear God, open their eyes
before it is too late'.
Because sooner or later,
the world shall come to a halt.


The Bible
The bible is such a precious thing,
full of wise words from God.
We need to read it every day,
to learn what we have to do;
learn what we have to do to make it;
make it to heaven.
We'll only make it
with the help of God.


Think about it: when we pray, God makes us a pure vessel, willing to be used by Him. Prayer activates the annointing so therefore when we pray we are becoming an annointed pure vessel that is being used by God.


BIBLE: basic instructions before leaving earth.

We the people of God, need to be in agreement about the blood, so that we can live ( the word live echoes into a microphone )

Sin offering - purification
Burnt offering - self surrender
Meat offering - consecration of our labor for God

Roller Coaster Friendship

The way the roller coasters,
zoom around,
they remind me of our friendship.

Up and down,
around the corner,
swinging like a ship.

Our friendship is like,
a rollercoaster,
going around in loops.

One day our friendship,
will fall apart...
or just break down,
because of the loops.

So just remember,
when you're down and out,
that our rollercoaster friendship,
was good at one time,
but now is gone.

Wandering

Wandering around,
wandering where I'll be found.
I feel lost in this world,
lost and confused.
If anybody would notice,
I wouldn't feel so bad.
But when it all comes down,
down to the point of the matter,
I feel like nobody cares...
But then that's,
when I found you.

The Love of a Mother

The love of a mother,
outlives everything.
Friendships die,
love sometimes leaves.
People give up,
no hope for their soul.
But when it comes to a mother,
her love never dies.
