Whenever I go down, upon my knees,
I can feel your love surround me.

The hope inside that no matter what,
my God still loves me.
My God loves me, this I know,
because He helps me, whenever I am down.
Now whenever I say down, I mean down upon my knees;
where I'm comforted, where I feel joy,
that my God has given me.
And this I know because my Lord speaks to me.
God, I can tell everyone, that you'll love them
the way you love me when I'm down on my knees.
It's where I felt your love surround me,
where I felt peace and joy and knew, that no matter what,
you still love me. God, I can tell everyone about your love.
